We were back at KPMG for our second hui on Monday 22nd June. It is such a great time getting to work with the rest of the group in the Innovation Space at the Auckland office.
The day was spent sharing where we were at on our projects and giving feedback to others in the group, following this we had time to continue working on our individual projects.Having the team together is always great for hearing different points of view and ideas around our projects, and having Justine (from KPMG) there to offer a different perspective is so helpful too. She always seems to find something that we may have missed!
My partner for sharing was Gabe. It was really good to get his perspective on some of the complexities of supporting all subject areas around literacy as he has experience in a secondary context too. I really enjoyed trialling his project and thinking about other ways in which it could be used.
Following our pair discussions we had a delicious lunch (the chicken skewers are always a highlight, as was the fizzy drink this time), and then we spend the last hour or so of the day continuing to develop our projects.
By the next update there should be a working prototype for people to see/use
