MIT 2023- KMPG #3

It is time for another update on my MIT 2023 project!

On Monday 28th August we were back at KPMG in Auckland to check in with the team and work on our Pecha Kucha presentations for the Bay of Islands Summit in the Term 3 break.

It was so nice to be back at KPMG, Justine looks after us so well- the food is always a highlight even though we always forget to take pictures until after we've eaten 😅

We were also super lucky, as the Logo for MIT2023 that we designed at the first KPMG Hui has been printed on to t-shirts for us to wear! It is very exciting that we will look like at team when we present at the Summit.

My project is a bit behind where I would like it to be, with my resource section for the different strategies to still be added.

We spent most of our time working on our Pecha Kucha presentations. This is a very structured way of presenting where we get 20 slides (plus one transition/intro slide), and 20 seconds to speak to each slide, before they automatically transition. I quite like this as a structure as it is really helpful to me to plan out what I am saying in 20 second chunks! Although 20 slides still feels like a lot.

I am already feeling nervous for the presentation but I think having a few weeks of thinking and practicing will be very helpful. Next time you hear from me will be at the summit, and I will have lots to share :)
